Isabel, a 13-inch beagle, joined our family a year ago. She completed her pet therapy temperament testing in December. We’re practicing some skills, so she’ll be ready for her final evaluation soon!

It has been awhile since we posted updates about our Pet Assisted Therapy. We experienced two unexpected tragedies this fall. In late October, Rock, our beloved Treeing Walker Coonhound, died from unexpected complications three days after emergency surgery for bloat. Then, in early December, our sweet Ronnie died from cancer that had spread to his lungs.  We miss them both so much.
